Spatulas and Screwdrivers

I love being able to do things on my own. This blog is my way of keeping track of my progress... not all of my DIY projects turn out well or even pretty. B is my trusty Husband/Sidekick. (But if he asks, I'M the sidekick, got it?) I love being happy. I love making good food. Food makes me happy. You see the motivations to make good food? I'm by no means an expert, and sometimes my ideas are a flop. But sometimes (peppermint bark fudge) I find a real keeper.

Curb Appeal

We had such a fun time when B came home for a visit! The major thing we did together was weed cloth/ rock in the front flower bed!! I get soooo tired of pulling weeds and nothing ever grows in there except for bushes because they get drowned anytime it rains!! So to make things simple and clean looking, we replaced the top 6 inches of with rocks that we lined with weed cloth!
